The above image of thunderclouds, caught on camera from our backyard in Missouri during the summer of 2008, seemed to remarkably depict Jesus as our Intercessor, with arms upraised toward heaven for a world much in need.

It was impressed upon me by the Lord to make this recording of Ave O Jesu, which I co-authored with Jennie McIntire; her brother Jeremy accompanied me on the acoustic guitar. This rendition was born out of a desire to offer a version of Schubert's classical masterpiece which will hopefully inspire the listeners to exalt the Living God, Jesus Christ! - Jettie Hitchcock
